Discover the 2025 Selection and Advisory Committees for Vision du Reel


 
 

With the Call for films and projects now open, Visions du Réel is excited to announce the three committees who will select and shape the 2025 edition. This includes a new Advisory Committee, in addition to our film programme and industry selection committees.

Visions du Réel announces its 2025 Selection Committee, featuring Emmanuel Chicon (France), Anne Delseth (France/Switzerland), Sergio Fant (Italy/Germany), Aurélien Marsais (France/Switzerland), Mourad-Anis Moussa (Switzerland/Tunisia), and Katy Lena Ndiaye (Senegal/Belgium). Together with Artistic director Emilie Bujès, these esteemed professionals will be responsible for curating the lineup across various sections of the festival, bringing their diverse expertise to the selection process.
Further contributors to the programming include Violeta BavaRebecca de PasPaolo MorettiMadeline Robert and Astrid Silva.

The VdR–Industry announces its 2025 Selection Committee, responsible for working with Head of Industry Alice Burgin to select projects across VdR–PitchingVdR–Work In ProgressVdR–Rough Cut Lab, and VdR–Development Lab. The Committee includes Jasmin Basic (Switzerland), Violeta Bava (Argentina), Pierre-Alexis Chevit (France), S. Leo Chiang (Taiwan), Yara Costa Pereira (Mozambique), Milton Guillén (Nicaragua/USA), Madeline Robert (France), Shaunak Sen (India) and Mateo Ybarra (Switzerland).

Visions du Réel announces a prestigious and inspiring 2025 Advisory Committee composed of Mark Cousins, filmmaker; Chiara Marañón, Programming Director, MUBI; Eva Sangiorgi, Artistic Director, Viennale; Rasha Salti, Commissioning Editor, ARTE France; Dominic Willsdon, Executive Director, International Documentary Association (IDA) and former VdR Head of Industry Gudula Meinzolt, Producer, Autentika Films.

Visions du Réel's Call for films and projects is now open with the following deadlines:
VdR–Development Lab closes this Friday 25 October. 

For all other programmes, the following deadlines apply:
Early Deadline: Monday 4 November
Final Deadline: Friday 13 December
