VIDEO: Un Certain Regard 2024 Award Ceremony

Celebrating a cinema of discoveries, the mission of Un Certain Regard is to bring out new trends, new paths and new countries of cinema. The 2024 selection offered 18 feature films including 8 first films which also compete for the Caméra d'or. When the Light Breaks by Rúnar Rúnarsson opened this year. Chaired by the Canadian actor, director, screenwriter and producer Xavier Dolan, the Jury is made up of the French-Senegalese screenwriter and director Maïmouna Doucouré, the Moroccan director, screenwriter and producer Asmae El Moudir, the German-Luxembourgish actress Vicky Krieps, and American film critic, director and writer Todd McCarthy.
