The 16 films competing for this year's Doc Alliance Award are out! 8 feature-length and 8 short films are chosen by the 8 film festivals, from the Doc Alliance as well as this year’s guest festival. The Doc Alliance Award is endowed with 5,000 EUR (Best Feature) and 3,000 EUR (Best Short). The winners will be presented at the award ceremony of this year’s guest festival Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Kyiv (31 May - 9 June 2024). The Doc Alliance network (CPH:DOX, Doclisboa, DOK Leipzig, FIDMarseille, Ji.hlava IDFF, Millennium Docs Against Gravity FF and Visions du Réel) supports emerging talents in European documentary landscape. Congratulations to all film teams involved!

Doc Alliance will celebrate the nominees on 21 May during the Doc Day at Marché du Film in Cannes, where representatives of all member festivals will also be available to meet. We hope to see you there!
