Diamant Brut, Agathe Riedinger's feature directorial debut, premieres the second night of the Cannes Film Festival

Diamant brut (English: Wild Diamond), written and directed by Agathe Riedinger, premieres on Wednesday night. This film, an expansion of Riedinger's short film J'attends Jupiter (2017), takes place and was filmed in France's Côte d'Azur.

Liane, 19 years old, reckless and incandescent, lives with her mother and her little sister under the dusty sun of Fréjus. Obsessed by beauty and the need to become someone, she sees in reality TV the possibility of being loved. Destiny finally seems to smile on her when she goes through a casting call for “Miracle Island”.
