With great sadness we have just learned the death of the talented Indian director Shaji N. Karun, spécial mention - camera d'or Cannes 1989.  Vesoul IFF Asian Cinema presented several of its major films: Piravi, Swaham (Destinée), Vanaprashtam,... CIFF IS BACK FOR OUR NINTH YEAR!
 
We’re thrilled to announce that the ninth annual Chandler International Film Festival (CIFF) is returning to Arizona for another year of fun, food, and fantastic films! Join us from January 24 through February 2, 2025, at LOOK Dine-in Cinema, where over 150 films will make their Arizona debut.

"The Chandler International Film Festival is a celebration of creativity, culture, and community, bringing together filmmakers and audiences from around the world to experience the power of storytelling right here in Arizona," said Mitesh Patel, the president and festival director of CIFF. "With an incredible lineup of film screenings, events, and networking opportunities, this festival promises to inspire all who attend.".

 
 
 
 

What to Expect This Year


Our 10-day festival is packed with activities for all ages, including:

 

  • Cultural Celebrations: Experience themed days centering on Asian, Indian, Pan-African, Latino, and European cultures.

The closing of the friday night screenings in Fantasporto was Mitesh Kumar Patel's Horror thriller The woman in the Maze starring Meredith VanCuyk, Joey Heyworth, Sean Dillingham... Mitesh also founded the Chandler International Film Festival.

A young woman rents a house in America's largest ghost town, Jerome, Arizona for a business trip, but soon discovers that the house is cursed and traps any woman who enters it. The house transforms into a maze, making it impossible for the woman to escape. Will she be able to break the curse and escape the maze before it's too late? or will she become the next victim of the cursed house?
