Ricardo Teodoro Receives Louis Roederer Rising Star Award

Today the Louis Roederer foundation gave its rising star award to actor Ricardo Teodoro. The award has been given to the work of a burgeoning artist since 2017. This year Teodoro received the award for his work in the film Baby(2024). He received the award for playing the second lead of the film, Ronaldo. The film follows Wellington, a young man released from juvenile detention to find his parents have left him adrift and alone. Ronaldo attempts to help Wellington as both a mentor and a lover but as time passes finds he may be doing more harm than good. Teodoro’s roles in Invisible City(2021) and O Filho do Homem(2019) are what secured his status as a rising star in Brazil.
