Discover the juries for the 15th edition of MyFrenchFilmFestival!

MyFrenchFilmFestival is honoured to welcome an esteemed International Jury for this 15th edition, which will award the competition’s Grand Prix for Best Feature Film.

The International Jury

MyFrenchFilmFestival is honoured to welcome an esteemed International Jury for this 15th edition, which will award the competition’s Grand Prix for Best Feature Film. This award is endowed with €15,000 in prize money to be shared equally between the director, producer, and distributor of the winning film. 

 

The members of the International Jury for 2025 are: Franco-Iranian actor/producer/director Zar Amir, Danish-American actor/director Viggo Mortensen, French actor/director Noémie Merlant, Swedish writer/director/producer Tarik Saleh, and Russian writer/director Andrey Zvyagintsev.

 

The International Press Jury 

At the end of the festival, the International Press Jury will award a feature film in competition. 

The international journalist members of this year’s jury are Elisabeth Vincentelli (The New York Times – USA), Yuko Tanaka (Kinema Junpo – Japan), Boyd van Hoeij (Screen International – UK), Marco Consoli (freelance – Italy), and Gonzalo Lira (El Heraldo TV – Mexico). 

 

Content Creators Jury 

The Content Creators Jury will award a short film in competition. 

The three content creators with a passion for cinema on this year’s jury are Shruti Nagesh (@thecinemastories / in English), Alejandro Chávez (@jorandro_ / in Spanish), and Jovan Vasiljević (@cinematologist / in English). 

 

Audience Awards 

The 18 films in competition are also in the running for the Audience Awards, presented to one feature film and one short film in competition. To vote, sign in to MyFrenchFilmFestival.com, up to and including February 17!

Founded in 1949, Unifrance promotes French films and audiovisual works abroad. Based in Paris, Unifrance has approximately 50 collaborators as well as representatives in the US, China, and Japan. The non-profit organization unites more than 1,000 professionals from France’s cinema and audiovisual industries (producers, artists, agents, exporters…) who work together to promote French films and audiovisual programs to foreign audiences, industry professionals, and foreign media.
