networking and meetings

For the 75th anniversary of the Berlin International Film Festival, a new centerpiece has been built near Potsdamer Platz, right next to the red carpet of the Berlinale Palast:
HUB75. This Festival Center is an inviting place for encounters and exchanges. Various events for audiences and film industry professionals will take place here every day.

The highlights of our morning talks include various Directors’ Exchanges: the new Perspectives section will hold conversations, one morning slot will focus on the Body Horror genre, another will cast a spotlight on the craft of film music. The Berlinale and the Deutschlandfunk Kultur radio station are looking forward to welcoming special guests on stage, including Nina Hoss, Tom Tykwer, Dascha Dauenhauer, Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese, Rosa von Praunheim, Ina Weisse and Jan-Ole Gerster.

In the afternoons and evenings, HUB75 is open exclusively to accredited guests as a central location to meet and exchange ideas. In our lounge-like atmosphere, food and drinks are available for purchase, while a variety of DJs will be setting the perfect musical mood in the evenings.
