Lunenburg Doc Fest starts this evening!

Following our opening night presentation, we have a screening of LILITH FAIR: BUILDING A MYSTERY at 9 PM, also at the Opera House. Some promotions stated that the films starts at 8:30 PM, but it will start at 9:00 PM. This film tells the story of the women-led festival that defied industry norms and features legends like Fiona Apple, Tracy Chapman, and Sheryl Crow in their lineup. Check out this review of the film from when it premiered at TIFF! Tickets are still available HERE!

HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY (Thursday, 10 PM)

A quiet, romantic, poignant look at a relationship between two queer Black women that combines gently spoken voiceover with images of their day-to-day for a touching distillation of modern life.
SPEAK. (Friday, 6:30 PM)
This inspirational, rousing piece pulls incredible drama and surprising stakes out of high-school oration of all things, while touching on themes of race, gender, queerness, grief, suicide, and the rural/urban divide.
