Welcome to the first day of the 69th BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express. Expect 12 jam-packed days celebrating storytelling in its many forms.
Playing this evening at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall and during the Festival at UK-wide cinemas is the international premiere of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. Contemporary cinema’s favourite detective Benoit Blanc returns in Rian Johnson’s sharply penned and devilishly fun reinvention of the classic whodunit.
