MY FIRST OFFICIAL SELECTION ON THE AFRICAN CONTINENT

I am excited to announce that for the first time, one of my films is an official selection on the African continent.

That official selection, TURN, TURN, TURN, is by the Tanzanite International Animation Festival

That is a milestone because my films have now been at film festivals on 6 of the 7 continents. I don’t expect to have a film screened in Antarctica; I doubt they have one.

TURN, TURN, TURN is an abstract animation film composed of lines and dots; it is grounded in turning and opposites. Almost every frame has a turning element. The film is also underpinned by opposites: black/white, cyan/red, masculine/feminine, fast/slow, aggressive/passive, etc. This project was done for two reasons: I have been working on another abstract animation for a long time and never finished it, but the other reason was the motivator; it was done as a creative study for another project I'm working on, NULL DOMINION.
