Nine projects selected for Ventana- Sur GUIONES 2025
VS GUIONES is the section within Ventana Sur – Río de la Plata designed to welcome and support emerging screenwriters and their projects from across Latin America, fostering spaces for dialogue and exchange with different sectors of the audiovisual industry.
From December 1 to 5, the selected projects will receive personalized mentorship from acclaimed screenwriters such as Florencia Percia and Mariana Wainstein; a masterclass by Natalia Santa, the renowned Colombian screenwriter and director with international recognition; and an open pitching session for accredited Ventana Sur participants, where they will present their projects before key industry figures.
Participants will also have the opportunity to compete for various awards, presented this year by CIMARRÓN, CINA CINA Uruguay, and TATTÚ Translation Studio.
This year, we received 170 bold and committed Latin American projects, and we sincerely thank all those who submitted their work. Here we present the nine selected projects that make up the 2025 Official Selection.
