Poster for 2025 Directors’ Fortnight (Quinzaine des Cinéastes) Unveiled

The official poster for the 2025 Directors’ Fortnight (Quinzaine des Cinéastes) has been unveiled. This year’s artwork was conceptualized by creative trailblazer Harmony Korine.

One of the great troublemakers of American indie cinema (Gummo, Julien Donkey-Boy, Spring Breakers), Harmony Korine has spent 30 years subverting pop culture and its clichés in a career that has ranged across cinema, painting and multimedia works. He advocates an art of error which he terms "Mistakist Art", plunging the viewer into a hypnotic, decadent universe by privileging technical imperfection, accident and tonal shifts. 

We are thrilled that Harmony Korine has provided art for the poster for our 57th edition: a pop work that nods to the aesthetic of video games and its profusion of digital forms and colours. Its poetry and crazy energy set the tone for the Fortnight 2025!

The Directors’ Fortnight is an independent section held in parallel to the Cannes Film Festival.
