Hawk Hill Pictures Presents: Mtn Craft Film Festival at The Parkway Theater

Winning Feature to Receive Worldwide Distribution Contract

Hawk Hill Pictures Presents: Mtn Craft Film Festival at the Parkway Theater will take place May 2-3, 2025 in McKees Rocks. This inaugural celebration of independent filmmaking will feature a full lineup of action, comedy, drama, thriller, and documentary films—culminating in a presentation of the Grand Prize award.
“Our goal is to provide a real, tangible next step for filmmakers,” said Jen Katzfey, President of Distribution and Marketing at Hawk Hill Pictures. “With an international distribution and marketing opportunity, we are giving them a shot at global audiences and a lasting legacy.”

The mission of the Mtn Craft Film Festival to showcase bold, original stories and give passionate, independent creators the platform—and the screen—they deserve.
This festival is a new venture for Mtn Craft, previously known for video production services and its annual film festival at the Robinson Grand Theater in Clarksburg, WV. This marks the organization’s first expansion into Pittsburgh, bringing their curated selection of local, regional, and international films to a broader audience.
“This year’s selection is one of the most exciting we’ve ever assembled,” said Ben Berry, founder of the Mtn Craft Film Festival. “We’ve got stories from Pittsburgh and around the world that will surprise, challenge, and inspire. The Parkway Theater is the perfect new home for this next chapter of our festival’s growth.”

Jon Osbeck, Director and Producer of the feature film Down to the Felt, which will screen at the festival, said. “As a filmmaker, this is the kind of festival you hope for—passion-driven, industry-connected, and genuinely supportive of your work. We’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
