Le Prix de la Citoyenneté 2025 7ème édition

UN SIMPLE ACCIDENT de Jafar Panahi

Jury's Note: The jury awarded the Citizenship Award to Jafar Panahi's "A Simple Accident" for its ability to challenge our understanding of freedom, justice, and free will. We were particularly impressed by the director's use of cinema to make "A Simple Accident" a reflection on individual responsibility, courage, and the need to end the cycle of violence.
