Home run for MATTEL at the San Diego Comic Con 2025!

As anticipated, legions of fans rushed from the first to the last day to the impressive Mattel booth #2945! We were lucky with my kids to be welcomed by publicist Marqui MacLachlan from www.TheBrandamp.com, who promotes Mattel products with member of the medias like me. She helped us navigate through the Mattel maze and showed us all the super limited-edition collectibles like the ‘Hot Wheels Jaws 50th Anniversary’ set and the ‘Hot Wheels Back to the Future 40th Anniversary’ set, or again, the Hot Wheels Mario Kart Pauline. I described these products and our story before the convention, so there is no need to reiterate. Now is the time for you to figure out a way to put your hands on one of these, now rare, collectibles. Try https://creations.mattel.com/collections/sdcc as a few of the collectibles were not sold out. But for the most part, they are! And of course, I had to get for my sons the ‘Jurassic World Hammond Collection T.Rex Convention Crasher’. This set was very quickly sold out, and the large smiles on the faces of my boys were my reward for hustling my way the get this precious item. Let’s mention that all these sets were priced at very reasonable and accessible numbers for the fans. Which is something you appreciate as a parent on a budget, especially when you must last four long days of temptations at the Comic Convention.

It truly was a communion to be with the large crowd visiting the Mattel booth and to be in awe at the many panels, such as the one for ‘Masters of the Universe’. Breathtaking was also the Mario Kart circuits built by the dedicated Mattel team, for the interactive pleasure of fans of all ages. You might be in your 50s like me, you eternally play like a child when it comes to Mattel toys.
The excitement is still lasting a week or so after experiencing the 2025 Mattel San Diego Comic Con event. This is the proof of a solid ‘Home Run’ from Mattel and its passionate team of employees and publicists. Make sure to put yourself on the Mattel email list (https://creations.mattel.com) to be kept in touch with any new products coming out and to know about the future dream line-up for the 2026 San Diego Comic Con.
We see you there! Ready, Set, Go!
A big thank you to Mattel and to Marqui MacLachlan from www.TheBrandamp.com
