The Bitter Tears of Zahra Zand is a mesmerizing film about an Iranian fashion designer living in London who falls in love with her model girlfriend. In a world where she lives in exile and where everything she does is looked down on by her culture, she builds herself a self made prison that will ultimately either destroy her or set her free.
Actress Boshra Dastournezhad Haghighi was born on April 7, 1985 in Shiraz, the daughter of Mehran Dastournezhad Haghighi and Fariba Vesali. Iranian born actress Goli Samii is known for SOUVENIR (1996), SWEETWATER TIDES (20024) and THE WAR WITHIN (2005).
