Interview With Writer Director Cash Robinson for "Nobody
Wants to Be Here, Nobody Wants to Leave" (2025) @ BIFF

Director Cash Robinson
During the 2025 Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF), I sat with writer director Cash Robinson at the King's Surf Shack on Harbour Island in mid December. Cash's film "Nobody Wants to Be Here, Nobody Wants to Leave" (2025) screened to local and international guests at BIFF.
BIFF is a boutique film festival of the highest standard, where film talent from all over the world gathers in paradise for a week every December for screenings, panels, writer workshops and networking, where industry professionals get the chance to really get to know each other, and facilitate many projects to move forward. This was the festival's 20th anniversary.
Cash Robinson is a writer, filmmaker, and actor from Dalton, Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia Franklin School of Arts and Sciences. He is the owner of Georgia-based production company "Doodlebug Productions" and a founding member of the film blog-turned-production company "Scrawls on Cinema". His debut feature 'Nobody Wants to Be Here, Nobody Wants to Leave' had its world premiere at the 2025 Austin Film Festival.
Cash's film "Nobody Wants to Be Here, Nobody Wants to Leave" (2025) is about a jaded caretaker and a stripper at a shabby motel, in crisis face their troubled histories together, finding unexpected connection and brief sanctuary in their shared experience.
