European Film Commissions Network to Kickstart Producers Network with Exclusive Brunch

The Producers Network, the Marché du Film’s dedicated platform for producers, is set to commence its activities earlier this year with an exclusive brunch, hosted in partnership with EUFCN — the European Film Commissions Network.

The EUFCN, which represents 100 European film commissions in 32 countries, is a non-profit association dedicated to supporting and promoting the European film industry and culture. Its various missions include organizing the share of information among its members, promoting European locations, fostering collaboration between filmmakers, local authorities, and the wider film community, as well as co-organizing training activities.

Film commissioners from Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries and Spain — all members of the EUFCN, who are closely related to their film funds — will participate in the brunch event, offering an extraordinary opportunity for Producers Network attendees. They can interact with various European film commissions and explore the different opportunities and resources Europe can provide for their future film projects.

The Producers Network Brunch will be held on Wednesday, 15 May 2024 from 11:00 to 12:30 at the Producers Club (Lérins, Palais des Festivals). This event will precede the rest of the five-day program, which runs from 16 to 20 May (breakfast meetings from 9:00 to 10:30).

Please note that access to the brunch and other Producers Network events is exclusively for Producers Network badge holders. Seating is limited and is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
