A film that went into production as they were still doing post-production on Poor Things, Kinds of Kindness becomes Yorgos Lanthimos‘ third trip to the Cannes competition after presenting The Lobster in 2015 and then The Killing of a Sacred Dear in 2017 (both films won the Best Screenplay prize).
