CONCESSIONS, by Mas Bouzidi to Have US Premiere at 26th Annual Woodstock Film Festival

I'm reaching out regarding the acclaimed new comedy CONCESSIONS, written and directed by Mas Bouzidi in his feature directorial debut, which will have its US Premiere at the Woodstock Film Festival on Thursday, October 16th.

The film stars Steven Ogg, Josh Hamilton, Lana Rockwell, Ivory Aquino, Nate Odenkirk, and the late Michael Madsen—in one of his final performances. Shot on 16MM, Concessions draws tonal comparisons to Clerks, Slacker, and Dazed and Confused

CONCESSIONS had its World Premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and recently had its North American Premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival.

SYNOPSIS

As the Royal Alamo Cinema closes its doors for good, jaded staff, eccentric patrons, and an unhinged manager stumble through one last night at the movies — grappling with busted dreams, bad popcorn, and bittersweet goodbyes.

Director/Writer Mas Bouzidi and Producers Ram Khagram and Malcolm Brainerd are available for interviews, both virtually and on-site at the festival.

Additional information can be found below, and materials are available upon request. Please let me know if you would be interested in reviewing the film, arranging interviews, or covering the festival screening. Thanks!
