Celebrating Swiss cinema, talent & innovation!
We extend our sincerest gratitude to Switzerland, our 2024 Country of Honour and our Swiss partners Swiss Films, in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Office of Culture and the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, SRG SSR.
Their contribution to our key industry programs and events were deeply valued. Switzerland brought amazing works-in-progress with Solothurn Goes to Cannes and the Docs-in-Progress Switzerland Showcase, as well as groundbreaking innovation at their Swiss Hub.
We were delighted and impressed by the amount of talented individuals, film projects, business oppotunities and initiatives Switzerland brought to the film community, and we look forward to welcoming them back to Cannes!

Bringing the documentary community together in Cannes!
Doc Day kicked off with packed panels on improvisation and the future of indie documentaries while the afternoon masterclasses covered reality, perspective, and filmmaking for the common good. We wrapped up the day with the eventful Doc Award ceremony and a special screening of Guillaume Brac's Ce n'est qu'un au revoir thanks to our partnership with ACID!
We'd like to extend our congratulations to all the Docs-in-Progress Awards winners for their amazing projects, fresh perspectives & creative filmmaking! Additionally, we were thrilled to celebrate Pierre-Alexis Chevit's remarkable 10 years as Head of Cannes Docs on the Main Stage with the entire doc community!
